I heard you calling
my name from out of sight
I felt you being
so near and yet I fight
the master treason
the traps we can’t avoid
No more apologies
I am torn between your lies
Is this what you were looking for?
Let me go, now and forevermore
So tell me please, what have we done to you?
So tell me please, tell me, what have we done to you?
I know I hurt you
I never meant to hide
I lost my reason
I find no peace at night
So much to confess
I fell silent anyway
None of us to blame

I have been following VNV and attending their concerts for years. They are an amazing band, so prolific, well travelled, classy, and down to earth. Ronan is such a humble, amazing fellow. I'll never forget his taking a person's cellphone so he could give the person on the other end in hospital a front row experience. But this track, their music, is so moving. Lyrics are so well thought out, and their sound so consistently emotive over the years. Can't say enough good about VNV. realbibliodude
“Strangers” is packed with wonderfully menacing electro-goth—late-night horror movie music for vampire dance parties. Bandcamp New & Notable May 8, 2023
Terrific minimalist synth music from Melbourne, where robotic electronics lock into rigid beats to make a Kraftwerkian wonder. Bandcamp New & Notable Oct 25, 2021
